No doubt, you have heard and read a lot about G.R.O.W. Outreach Teams that Win. Perhaps you are among the many people who are still asking, "What is this all about anyway?"
Simply put, G.R.O.W. is an exciting strategy which offers every member of Mary's Chapel Baptist Church an avenue for participation in outreach to our community. The G.R.O.W. acronym stands for "God Rewards Our Work." As a member of a G.R.O.W. team this work might mean letter writing, phone calling, intercessory prayer or visitation. There is a place for everyone to be effective in their comfort zone. Commitment to a team means that you will participate with your team for twelve nights - a little more than 15 hours - of outreach in one year. The G team meets on the first Tuesday of each month, the R team on the second Tuesday, the Day O and O teams on the third Tuesday, and the W team on the fourth Tuesday. When a month has five Tuesdays, we will call it "Miracle GROW Night" and invite everyone to participate. Each team meeting lasts 75 minutes (6:30PM -7:45PM except for the Day O team which meets from 1:30PM until 2:45PM).
